Η Επιτροπή Ισότητας των Φύλων και Καταπολέμησης των Διακρίσεων του ΠΑΜΑΚ θα συμμετάσχει στο 1ο Εργαστήριο Πρωτοβουλιών Συμπερίληψης, το οποίο διοργανώνεται διαδικτυακά από την Ευρωπαϊκή Οικονομική Ένωση (EEA). Στόχος του εργαστηρίου είναι η ανταλλαγή βέλτιστων πρακτικών για τη συμπερίληψη και η παρουσίαση πρόσφατων ερευνών σχετικά με τη διαφορετικότητα και τη συμπερίληψη στον ακαδημαϊκό τομέα των Οικονομικών. Η Επιτροπή του ΠΑΜΑΚ θα συμμετάσχει σε ένα πανελ πανεπιστημίων (LSE, EUI, UCL, Bocconi, και RES) και θα εστιάσει σε πρωτοβουλίες και ερευνητικά αποτελέσματα που αφορούν την ισότητα των φύλων και τη βελτίωση του κλίματος στις οικονομικές σχολές.

The workshop is open at no charge to all members of universities (academics / professional staff / graduate students) and academic associations. The workshop’s aim is to share best practice inclusion initiatives among European departments and inform about recent research on diversity and inclusion in the Economics academic profession. It will consist of two sessions:
13:30-15:00:
Presentations of inclusion initiatives. Representatives (from LSE, EUI, UCL, Bocconi, the RES and the University of Macedonia) will present initiatives that include, among others, conducting and disseminating research on diversity, technological innovations to improve student-faculty dialogue, improving access to underrepresented groups in undergraduate admission, active bystanders program, consciously inclusive mentoring program, and innovative data collection on departmental climate with regard to gender.

15:15-16:30
Panel presentations and Q&A on Advances in Research on Inclusion and Diversity, with representatives from the EEA, Royal Economic Society and COSME (Spanish Economic Association). The panel will share new research on “Who studies Economics”, “Women in Economics” and the results from the recent EEA climate survey.
